Nate Archibald and Jas used to be good friends, because of Jas’ sister Vanessa and they had a thing once, but for both of them it wasn’t love.

“Oh don’t say that! Maybe my clothes will be too ugly for you to buy.” she laughed. When Jasmine mentioned her mother, Lauren sighed. “He doesn’t need to be upset about it. She is totally fine again. I wouldn’t be here if she wouldn’t! She was allowed to go home again yesterday.” she told her. Lauren thought about herself when she was engaged and looking at wedding things as Jasmine started talking about it. It was sometimes the only thing she had to do. “Well, we can do it together. You can say I got quite the expert on that field.” she chuckled softly. Lauren pulled the car out of the parking lot. The next Starbucks wasn’t too far from the University so the car ride wouldn’t be too long. “Oh, by the way. You’ll never guess who offered me a job.” Lauren stopped talking for a second and looked over to Jasmine before she concentrated on the road again. “Nate Archibald!”
“They sure won’t!”, she protested with a frown. “Nothing can be ugly if you are involved.” Jasmine nodded and heaved a sigh. “I just think he should visit his mother in Cali again, you know, your mother is like family to him.”, she explained with a shrug. “I don’t know.”, she ended the topic.
“Oh yes!”, she exlaimed clapping her hands together. “That would be awesome. I carry those magazines around everywhere and to our luck I also brought my Macbook with me today.” She smiled and watched the road. As Lauren mentioned Nate she smiled even wider. “Nate? Nate as in our Nate…oh lord. I haven’t seen him in ages! Why? How? What?”
